Vorderseite: Malteserritter & osmanischer Soldat Die 2022 Malta Knights of the Past 10 Euro 2 oz Silver BU HR ist die zweite Gedenkmünze, die dank der engen Zusammenarbeit zwischen der Central Bank of Malta und Germania Mint entstanden ist. Die Serie einzigartiger Anlagemünzen nimmt auf moderne Art und Weise Bezug auf die Traditionen des Malteserordens und sein Geschick in der Geschichte Europas. Die Vorderseite der zweiten Münze der Serie zeigt die Malteserritter in der Konfrontation mit den Eindringlingen während der Großen Belagerung von Malta im Jahr 1565 – der wichtigsten Schlacht in der Geschichte der Insel und einer der wichtigsten für Europa. Auf der Rückseite der Münze ist wie bei der Ausgabe 2021 das Wappen der Zentralbank von Malta auf einem Schild abgebildet, das von einem maltesischen Ritter gehalten wird. Obverse: Knights of Malta Knights of the Past is the first commemorative coin created through close cooperation between the Central Bank of Malta and Germania Mint. This issue will start a series of unique bullion coins, which in a modern way refer to the traditions of the Order of Malta. The collection will be the result of a collaboration, combining superior minting and precious metals quality, with the artistic vision, marketing and distribution of both institutions. The obverse of the first coin of the series depicts the Knights of Malta in a battle array, with the famous Verdala Palace in the background. The reverse of the coin presents the Central Bank of Malta coat of arms on a shield, held by a Maltese knight. The 2021 Knights of the Past 2 oz Silver HR will be issued in mintage of 999 numbered coins with certificate, special ennobling and dedicated packaging. |
